"Miracle on Main Street" a Seasonal Delight


The Sunday School Department and Kids Connection presented the musical, "Miracle on Main Street," last night at The Pentecostals of Apopka. Dozens of kids, parents and volunteers worked countless hours preparing lines, sets, costuming, staging and lights. You can view a full photo gallery of the play here.

Christmas Candlelight 2006


Tonight The Pentecostals of Apopka presented our annual Christmas Candlelight service. The POA Sanctuary Choir, 1 Voice Youth Choir, various soloists and special ensembles presented sounds of the season in a night of music and worship. Click here to view a full photo gallery of the night's events.

POA Member Receives Graduation Honors


Business Management major Andrea Hutching graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida this month with a 4.0 and received the honors medallion for the highest GPA in the college. She received the honor of sitting on the platform during graduation. Christmas Candlelight


Christmas Candlelight service, featuring songs of the season by the POA choirs, special ensembles and musicians will be Sunday evening, Dec. 17 at 6:30 p.m. POA Members: Special practices happen throughout this week in preparation for this event.

Quizzing Season About to Start

Women of Worth Christmas Luncheon


Sis. Reid visits Santa Claus at the recent Women of Worth Luncheon, an annual dinner honoring the widows of The Pentecostals of Apopka. The lunch was held at the home of Jeff and Karen Allen on Saturday, Dec. 2. Bro. Donny Hawthorne and Bro. J.P. Bellamy also provided entertainment. Many ladies of the church volunteered their time to prepare and serve lunch. This annual event is always a highlight of the year.
