Volunteers Needed
POA offers ESL (English As A Second Language) classes every Monday night from 8-9 p.m., and is in need of volunteers. No experience is necessary. If you’re interested, sign up in the church office.
kid’s Connection
kid’s Connection has started back up and will continue its regular schedule (every Wednesday night except the first Wednesday) in Griffin Hall.
Entertainment Books
The new 2009 Entertainment Books are available for $25. View the display in the bookstore, and see Eileen Griffin or Dotti Urshan to buy.
Connect Student Ministries
• Connection service will meet this Wednesday in Griffin Hall at 7:30 p.m.
• The annual Back to School Rally will be held in Ocala, FL, Aug. 15.
• CSM will go by bus Aug. 29 to St. Petersburg, FL, for the Tampa Bay Rays baseball game. The bus will leave at approximately 4 p.m. and return at the conclusion of the game. Cost for the trip is $40 and must be turned in no later than Sunday, Aug. 17.

Reaction Worship Band Plays Art Fest
Our church's youth worship band, Reaction, played the local Apopka Art & Foliage festival yesterday afternoon. About a hundred people gathered around the pavilion as they played songs from their EP, Save the Day.

District Men’s Conference
The registration deadline for the Florida District Men’s Conference is this Sunday. Ask a greeter in the lobby for more information.
Fusion Registration
Pre-registration for Fusion, which will be held here for students March 28-29, is $20. All POA students who plan to attend must register. Friends from school and the local area can register for just $10. See a student worker to register or contact the church office.
Service Update
Due to our student ministry conference called Fusion this week, there will be no regularly scheduled Wednesday evening service. Join us again April 2 at 7:30 for Light for Living. Additionally, there will be only one service here next Sunday, March 30.

Men on a Mission 2008
Pictured above: A group of men from POA and several surrounding area churches embarked on a missions trip to Guyana Saturday, Feb. 2. They are pictured above as they prepared to leave, blessed by a prayer by Pastor Williams. The team will build a church for the local ministry in just one week. The building will be dedicated to the memory of Lt.C. John D. Michael, Sr. Keep these men in your prayers this week and visit the site again soon for pictures from the week.
